Before, I was merely The Ultimate Hero and the only true champion. Now, some group of kiddos named AI has accepted me as their idol to be worshiped and revered. But I can still be your hero too.
I dont need images...
I'll just say...

I don't swim very deep anymore.
I stopped that when I felt a wooosh of water sweep past my body, and saw a shark fin to my right.
I told fresh this story. I became an Olympic swimmer that day. Swam so bloody fast to shore.
To be honest though, I did swim way too deep.
We had two fatal shark attacks in the last two weeks.

Damn. I don't go out THAT deep. I like to go out about far enough to not be able to touch the bottom without forcing myself to. Not much further past the point where I have to hop on my tip toes. Never been out further than that. Not because I was scared. Just never felt the need to. I can swim around enough that far out with out people getting in my way. Like I'd hop out in the water on a boat out deep. I mean not if people were like "yo we seen a shark", but I like the water enough to probably not even think about the risk of a shark. I'm a beach bum.
I've felt plenty things swim by me. Never saw a fin break water though. I kind of want to just to get the rush of it smh.

Nah you don't Nahlidge. Think about it. There's only one thing that goes through your mind, and that's your legs.
Just the feeling of a leg being bitten off at any moment, while they're splashing behind you,
is enough to scare the living daylights out of you.
But to be honest, we have a bad rep for shark attacks, but in saying that, we only had 5 deaths from shark
attacks in 12 months. Of course, that's not including the injured people that didn't die lol.
Although we did have a bad run a few weeks ago when two died.
And here's the weird thing, we tend to think you've gotta go deep for them to eat you, but...
the little fuckers come out to shallow waters too sometimes. We get people fishing for shark (Flake) from the shore and sometimes they catch baby sharks. Sometimes babies get trapped in the rocks where we go walking (on the beach). I've grabbed one by the tail and thrown it back in. Some are gummy sharks, some are tiger. But where there's a baby, there's gotta be a mummy or daddy swimming around.
I swim, but not like I used to when I was a kid. I'm more aware now and most of the fun has been taken out of swimming because of the sheer fear that goes through my mind at times.
