    Still Wainting

    Life is a tragedy with many of the Lords family members
    We all part of one huge fire 'till it loses its remaining embers
    I’m still waiting for a sign a voice to follow when I have sorrow
    In deep panic at night leaves you breathless to hard to swallow
    Can u picture a world on fire and say you can live through it....
    No need to imagine, we living it, terrorism in every aspect isn’t it dramatic
    I thought once a long time ago that peace was coming closer every second
    it hasn’t happened, I’m still waiting, one ignorant action one more soul missing
    Reducing our collection of Soul survivor, adding the number of tombs we see…
    AWOL soldiers, night riders, leaves us asking, wondering now where are we?
    There is no act of kindness, we left it all behind us, so when is it going to happen?
    We left stranded on the floor, face first in the dirt, crying about things so tragic….
    The “Twin Children” fell from the impact of two “Silver Birds” on September 11th
    Bomb scares, shoot -outs, God can just sit and watch us live in fear nothing blends in
    So when is this lifestyle of ours going to end ,start over and refresh its own pages again?
    Like we been doing through out time, we stand on our feet firmly and wait ’till it happens
    Life is an book with out “any writing“, but life has its “off beats” so there isn’t much rhyming
    According to prophets we all got our hour to shine, but our lives moments have been timed kid
    So when we get older or get our big break, we’re still pawns, or game pieces in the game of life
    according to our souls life isn’t over, peace hasn’t began, we are still waiting for that bright light

    that was more than hot i really could relate its such an cowenkidink that i have a poem similar to this is my book but it was nuttin compared to this everything was hot im goin to check out ya stuff cause im really feelin u. ya dig

    I think you did a great job with this, and it stands out so much because not many people write on this topic in this form. You had great imagery in here, and the emotion in this is actually very touching. You caught the readers attention and your poetic voice was that of a determined person. The only thing that I noticed with this peice is that you went from rhyming to freestyle and back to rhyming again and it threw the flow off in a few places. Overall you did a good job on th is poem. Good stuff....
