i've all but stopped using Fruity Loops...
the only function i use in it now is the browser... lol.
i rewire it into cubase, and drag my instruments and kicks, and shit into cubase.
i'll probably use it again when i need to do some sampling or whatever, but that's about it...( i gotta, gotta gotta find a sampler that's as functional as Fruity is with the "fit to tempo"...then i can completly be rid of FLStudio)
the engine in Cubase/Nuendo sounds SO much better than Fruity's... the FL engine doesnt have alot of headroom man... the gain peaks on the volume knob where the gain starts in Cubase... and in FL when you go higher than that through the INS volume, it often distorts very quickly... more headroom = more room to make shit sound bigger and fuller... more routing options, more control over arrangements...
this shit is creative bliss...
