A dirty cafe, pretty crap, sat lapsed between two dusty paths
The air shaft above housing secrets of the owners past
He smiles wide, a gleam of guilt shines bright in his eye
as a customer enters, he seems a smart kinda guy
He asks questions, first a drink, then gets down to business
The owner panics, has this dude been tipped off by a witness?
He feels restless, he thought no-one knew of his endeavours
He covered his tracks well, hid the clothes, letters and leathers
feelin' better, the guy stopped the questioning and shit
So the owner relaxed, and almost paid the price for it
The guy asked "Whats that red on your face? Why you look shook?"
The owner shrugged, sighed and gave the ketchup a look
He understood, thankfully the dude took the excuse
but then he heard a deep creak, from the airshafts on the roof
scared of the proof, the owner tried to get him out the door
before the secret was discovered 'bout what he did to the whore
He sees her wedding ring on the side, and puts it into the drawer
tryina hide it from this bastard before he finds out any more
minutes pass, he downs his drink, before he gives up
pays a buck and leaves, clearly feelin' outa luck
The owner sighs in relief, not feeling guilty or worthless
taps three times on the bar, then his secret emerges
He sees the guy walkin' in tears but he don't give a fuck
as the poor dudes wife smiles, doin' buttons up
He looks over, smiles at the beautiful deceit
She just whispers in his ear "Same time next week?"

I like this it reminds me of some eminem lyrics. The rhymes were dope. Everything just clashed together. Really kept me reading.
